With 80 people in the audience, HC Kriens managed to nail a very important victory at home. We started out the game in a fast pace with a lot of dynamism and until the 21st minute we kept a difference of 2-3 goals ahead of our opponent. In the end of the first half as the goal difference decreased to a meagre one goal, our team’s stress level increased and could not score for the last 5 minutes. 3 seconds before the end of the first half HV Herzogenbuchsee scored, and we had to go back to the changing room with a draw.
Despite the half-time result, technical mistakes and missed out situations, we did not consider the possibility of losing this game. Patrick and Michi gave us very good tactical advice for the offense, thanks to which we took back the lead in the second half. Our goalkeeper, Danja, made great saves in the important moments.
However, there were very few goals on both sides. Just 4 minutes before the end, we were head to head again. Then, Cessia, our left wing dribbled her defence, who committed a grave defence mistake, for which Michelle punished HVH with a penalty goal. In the 59th minute one more goal from Sereina (pivot), 15:14. Finally, Danja, our goalkeeper sealed the deal with a parade.
In the absence of our coaches (Tom and Adrian), we would like to thank you for the support for Patrick Hasler and Michi Rüegg.
